Sheepgate Premier League

Sheepgate Premier League

The long journey north to Lincolnshire is always worth it for Sheepgate Premier League and I was pleased with pony on the first day, despite heavy rainfall we avoided the worst of it somehow but we had to dance around the puddles in the competition arena for the Grand Prix so a few costly balance blips, ‪#‎annoying‬ but the same for everyone so no excuses. Finished third overall with the International judge having us to win. Huge congratulations to our resident client Alice Collins who won her Advanced 102 class! Onwards to day two we were praying – please, please let it dry up a bit otherwise we may need Noah’s Ark.

Day two brought a fabulous end to a very wet and muddy show. I decided to put my foot down a bit and go for some more power where we could in the Grand Prix to test where we are at, delighted to say the little ginger excelled himself, mistake free but still masses of room for improvement. A new PB of 70.03% what a hero our boy is. Second place by a whisker and he moves forward to Hickstead this week on great form. Thanks and congrats to Sarah Payne and her team that managed to keep the show going, as well as ever, despite the rain! Special thanks to the crew that were tasked with pulling every lorry out of the lorry park last thing yesterday. As you can see Alice Collins was sooooo helpful during the process ‪#‎youcanalwaysrelyonalice‬!
