Boheme Af Sulsted and the ‘Elite’ team, fresh from their success at Keysoe Premier League, spent three days at Addington Premier League in Buckinghamshire. It was very well attended, resulting in big classes and lots of strong competition. Having only been to this show centre a couple of times previously, Boheme was a little distracted on the first day, producing some excellent work but slightly marred by tension. he produced two respectable performances for placings just outside the top ten in the Prix Saint George and Inter I.
Day two of competition saw the arrival of our trainer, Emile Faurie, to assist with our warmup. It was a great help. Boheme grew in confidence quickly with the three of us working together, going on to produce an excellent test in the Prix St George to score 67.5% for sixth place in a strong class, and 65.3% in the Inter I to finish whisker outside the top ten.
We had a great time over the course of the show and have to thank everyone that helped to make the trip possible. Especially our travelling super groom and yard manager, Jack Border, who selflessly gave up his birthday to attend the show and take care of Bo’s needs all weekend.
