Big ginger, Bo, excelled himself this weekend at Addington Premier League topping the Inter II with 67.54%. Super proud after he’d had a busy week with training sessions with the fab Emile, trial rides in the @Fairfax performance bridle and his dental checkup with David Saw our wonderful teeth expert. Not a mistake free test at all but suitably impressed the judges with 8’s for piaffes and trot extensions and so much more to come.
The sun shone but we were a little blurry around the edges in our Grand Prix on Saturday. Finished a creditable fourth, in a big class on 66.8%, some way short of our best.
Sunday saw our chance to have a run through of our Grand Prix freestyle for only the second time. After three days of competing and three days of plaits, the ginger wonder pony was rocking a look reminiscent of an 80’s Kevin Keegan perm. However, he also rocked in his final test , scoring 71.12% to win the class. Great show, great weather and great results.
