It’s been a busy few days for us, competing at the beautifully refurbished Wellington Riding Centre Premier League. Two days of competition in glorious sunshine saw us taking part in the Inter II and Grand Prix classes. Bo felt brilliant, especially in the warm up for the Inter II, rider lapses led to a couple of expensive mistakes but in spite of this he managed a very respectable 65.87% for sixth place. Hugely reassuring to still place in the top ten despite our mistakes and with some fantastic judges comments. He’s still tiring a little for the second day of such a taxing level of competition work, but is getting stronger all the time, he improved on his own personal best in the Grand Prix to score 63.967% just a whisker outside the top ten. We then rushed back for an even more important competition, my gorgeous sons Pony Club walk and trot test. He performed beautifully, as always, laughing most of the time and smiling the rest of it. Roll onto Sheepgate Premier League for two Grand Prix classes.
