We had a lovely time at Wellington Riding Premier League, as always a great show and the weather held, despite some thunder rolling around nearby. Frustratingly, not entirely our day on the first day, some uncharacteristic mistakes were very costly so we finished ninth in the Grand Prix with 66.86%. Some very reassuring comments from the judges, my own assessment, #mustdobetter. Onwards to day two and our first bash at a GP Special, hoping my riders satnav wouldn’t fail me for the test.
Special done and dusted, nothing to set the world alight and lots of mistakes but thankfully no wrong turns! Some interesting judging kept the score down to 64.8% (67.5, 65.98 and 60.88). Bless the little ginger, when he knows where he’s going the test will really suit him and we can turn the power up without the mistakes. Onwards to Sheepgate Premier League next.
